I have not seen this anywhere via Google, so I will put it out there and hopefully someone will find it useful someday. If you ever lose you password for you Tipping Point 100E, perhaps others in the line, here is how to add a new superuser. Not the same as password recovery, but hey:

1. Connect to the serial console on the machine with the setting 115200bps, 8 bits for data, no parity, 1 stop bit
2. Reboot the machine via the LCD display. If that is not working for some reason just cut the power. This will interupt the network, so be ready for it.
3. After the Tipping Point logo comes up and it says "Loading" type "mkey" with no quotes within four seconds. If you see dots appear after this you missed it and will have to restart.
4. If you caught it fast enough you will be prompted to add a new superuser you can then use to reset your old password or anything else you need.
